Volunteer with us and have yourself some free fun and adventure.

Hornsby Ku-Ring-gai & Central Coast Community Transport is looking for friendly volunteers to join our weekly social bus outings, supporting older people to live their best lives!

We are a not-for-profit organisation with the sole purpose of improving the health, wellbeing, independence and quality of life for older Australians and vulnerable people.

  • Help out with our weekly half and full day tours.
  • Museums, shows, clubs, harbour cruises & more!
  • No driving or special skills required.
  • Training and support provided.
  • Explore Sydney and the Central Coast with great company.
  • Enjoy lunch on us!

Where you’ll go

Each week, we take people to a range of fun and interesting destinations around Sydney and the Central Coast, from museums and festivals to shows, clubs, harbour cruises, markets and more.

As a volunteer, you’ll enjoy all the sites and lunch is on us!

What you’ll do

  • Support clients on and off the bus and throughout each tour.
  • Ensure everyone is present and accounted for.
  • Lead & coordinate the day’s outing by liaising with venue, tour & restaurant staff.
  • Assist clients who need mobility support.
  • Help clients feel welcome and included.

How to become a client

Whether you need to be at an appointment, catch up with friends, or somewhere else, contact us to discuss your transport needs. With your eligibility confirmed, we will look to match our capabilities and costs to your requirements.

Please complete all of the fields and click the submit button. One of our friendly staff will then contact you to discuss your eligibility and requirements.

Alternatively, if you or a family member would prefer to discuss your eligibility with us directly, please call us Monday to Friday (9:00am – 4:30pm) on (02) 9983 1611.
