Transport to TAFE

FREE Transport to TAFE

Central Coast Community Transport is now providing free transport to and from the TAFE NSW campuses at Gosford, Ourimbah, and Wyong for eligible students who have limited access to transport and need help attending face-to-face study.

The transport is part of a 12 month trial funded by Transport for NSW to improve access to education, qualifications, and employment opportunities for people experiencing transport disadvantage.

Eligibilty criteria

  • Be currently enrolled in TAFE NSW
  • Need to attend face-to-face classes or training
  • Have limited access to transport
  • Live within a Central Coast LGA
  • Meet program assessment requirements

 

Who can refer a potential client?
We welcome referrals from third party organisations such as:

  • Centrelink and Services Australia staff
  • TAFE NSW student support services
  • Employment service providers
  • Community welfare organisations
  • Aboriginal support organisations
  • Youth services
  • Migrant and multicultural support agencies
  • Disability support providers
  • Housing and homelessness services
  • Community neighbourhood centres

Whether you need to be at an appointment, catch up with friends, or somewhere else, contact us to discuss your transport needs. With your eligibility confirmed, we will look to match our capabilities and costs to your requirements.
